The latest review of national human rights institutions (NHRIs) from the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) shows how NHRIs provide advice on national laws and policies, how they monitor EU funds or use the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. It also provides information on their accreditation status and mandates.
FRA presented to the EU Council’s Asylum Working Party its updated guidance on setting up national independent mechanisms to monitor fundamental rights compliance during screening and asylum border procedures.
